Casian Electrical LLP installs, tests and maintains the electrical infrastructure that keeps digital infrastructure running — from LV intake and busbar to the last patch cord in the white space. Headquartered in London, mobilised on client sites across Europe.
Who we are
We do one thing: electrical installation and structured cabling for facilities that cannot afford to stop. That focus is why our teams work as comfortably in a live colocation hall in Frankfurt as they do on a greenfield build in Dublin.
Casian Electrical LLP was formed to solve a problem operators know well — the quality of an installation should not change when the project crosses a border. We keep a directly employed core of supervisors, approved electricians and cabling technicians who travel with the work, supported by vetted local partners for plant, permits and national compliance sign-off.
Where we work
Our project teams travel to site with their own tooling, test equipment and method statements — so clients get the same crew, the same standard and the same paperwork wherever the facility sits.
Working somewhere not listed? We regularly mobilise into new territories for framework clients.
What we do
Six connected capabilities. Most clients take the full package; all of them can be delivered as a discrete work package alongside your existing contractors.

Read moreWhy operators choose us
Most delays on European data centre programmes are not technical — they are documentation, competency records, permits and language. We treat those as part of the electrical scope.
The same method statements, labelling convention, test regime and QA sign-off in Amsterdam as in Slough. Nothing is reinvented per country.
We install to BS 7671 and IEC 60364 principles and align to the applicable national code — NEN 1010, NF C 15-100, VDE 0100, SS 436 — with local verification arranged where the authority requires it.
Permit to work, lock-off and tag, switching schedules, A/B integrity checks and toolbox talks before every shift. Working around live load is routine, not exceptional.
As-built drawings, cable schedules, asset registers, test certificates and O&M content built as the work progresses — so practical completion is not a paperwork negotiation.
How we work
Programme certainty comes from the work done before anyone lifts a cable drum. This is the sequence we run on every project, scaled to its size.
Need to slot into an existing programme mid-flight? We do that regularly — tell us the current stage and we will map our mobilisation onto your dates.
We review drawings, specifications and programme, then come back with buildability comments, risk flags and a clear scope split before pricing.
Transparent, line-by-line pricing with procurement lead times identified early. RAMS, competency records and site logistics prepared for approval.
Supervisor and core crew deployed with accommodation, tooling, calibrated test kit and local inductions arranged. Typically within 48 hours for framework clients.
Delivered to an agreed row-by-row or zone-by-zone programme, with weekly progress reporting, photographic records and quality inspections signed as we go.
Inspection and testing, certification, support through client and third-party commissioning, and attendance at integrated systems testing to Level 5.
Complete O&M and as-built documentation, snag close-out, warranty support and an optional maintenance agreement with 24/7 cover.
Sectors
Different operating models, same underlying requirement: power that is installed correctly, evidenced properly and maintainable for the next fifteen years.
Repeatable, high-volume installation delivered to tight energisation dates, with the reporting cadence and safety governance large programmes demand.
Phased hall build-outs and customer fit-outs delivered alongside live load, including tenant-specific power and cabling packages.
Small-footprint, fast-turnaround installations across dispersed estates — a single crew covering multiple sites on one mobilisation.
Comms rooms, trading floor infrastructure and business-critical server rooms where change windows are short and evidence requirements are high.
Higher-current final circuits, denser containment and cabling strategies built for retrofit into halls that were never designed for today’s rack loads.
Resilience improvements, switchgear replacement, UPS and battery renewals, and remedial programmes carried out around live operations.
Common questions
If your question is not here, ask it directly — we would rather have a five-minute conversation than send a brochure.
Our regular territories are the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, the Nordics, Spain, Poland and Romania. We mobilise into other European countries for existing clients, and will tell you honestly at enquiry stage where we would need a local partner to complete the compliance route.
Both. We take electrical and cabling work packages under a main contractor or M&E contractor, and we take direct appointments from operators for fit-out, upgrade and maintenance works where we hold the principal contractor duties.
Installation follows BS 7671 and IEC 60364 principles, aligned to the applicable national wiring regulations for the country of work. Data centre design intent is generally referenced against EN 50600 and TIA-942, and cabling is tested and certified to ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA-568 class limits.
For clients on a framework or existing agreement, a supervised crew is typically on site within 48 hours. For a new enquiry, expect a site visit or technical call within a few working days, with mobilisation driven by scope, permits and material lead times.
The supervisory and core installation team is directly employed and travels with the project. Where volume peaks or a national requirement applies, we supplement with vetted partners who work to our RAMS, our labelling standard and our QA sign-off — never to their own.
Yes. Live-environment work is a core part of what we do: permit to work, isolation and lock-off, agreed switching schedules, A/B feed integrity checks, and works planned around your change control and approved windows.
Send us the drawings, the specification or just the dates you are working to. You will get a considered response from someone who has installed the work — not a generic brochure.
